As the driving force behind the Vietnamese team’s participation in the Bocuse d’Or, he emphasizes creativity, sustainability, and excellence. Under his leadership, the team is poised to make a significant impact on the global stage.

Daniel Nguyen

Coach of Bocuse d'Or Vietnam

Daniel Nguyen has been in the hospitality industry for 25 years that spans across Asia Pacific destinations including New Zealand, Australia, and Vietnam—Daniel has honed his craft in some of the world’s luxurious hotels and resorts such as Accor, IHG, and Hilton and restaurant fine dining scene. Daniel’s passion extends beyond the day-to-day operations, into the competitive arena of international culinary arts. He has competed several times in prestigious culinary competitions, showcasing his innovative approach and technical skills notably representing Team Vietnam at Bocuse d’Or Aisa Pacific 2018 and participating in International Catering Cup in Lyon. As team Vietnam coach, Daniel bring along his wealth of knowledges, competition experiences and his passion to coach chef Truong Vu and commis Tam Nguyen to bring Vietnamese culinary to the world stage with the spirit of Bocuse d’Or.
